Magic Lantern Slide

Here is  a lovely little group of antique lantern slides.

Next week we have a group of  slides of the Grand Canyon  by A.C.Roebuck and the Chicago Projecting company,  from 1906, 21 slides in all, masterfully done.  You won’t want to miss these.

The detail on these if fantastic.
Condition is good overall, but i’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
The pictures show the slides as seen in a homemade projector using an old photo enlarger, and any mottling of the sky or background is due to a paper backing used to diffuse the light.

Size of the slides, exact is 3.5 inches by 3.5 inches by just less than 0.25 inches.

The slides are: (picts not shown in this order)

1. Refugees returning to villages captured by Serbia
2. Refugees at a Red Cross Camp.
3. Landing of Allied Troops at Salonika
4. Public washing place, Vodena
