Gilt painted Miniature coffin

Looks like it was built from moulding, feet are added on the base of coffin.  Appears to be tin paper lined on the interior. On the pictures you can see the tinny colour showing through on the interior.

Interesting to say the least.  Perhaps was planned for use as a pet coffin or such.  Perhaps a sample project for a new coffin design?

Nice detail on the moulding.
