Vince:
I will come by on Monday. We can make a deal for the China Cabinet, a desk in the garage heap and perhaps other items. See you then.
Thanks,
Michael
Great, cya Monday then.
Vince:
I saw the top arch of the wooden windows that you got in on April 1st. What’s the best price for the top arch? I think you had it outside the store today. It is white or grey or close to it – quite dirty really. Anyway I would offer $25 for it. Let me know.
Also, I saw that you had a few items in your “scrap” barn in the back of the Parking lot while we were waiting for you this afternoon. One item was an Art Deco Curio or China Cabinet similar to the one I bought earlier this week – square art deco wood cabinet with glass door – not in best shape but wondered what you wanted for it? Also, there was an old one-piece wood desk in a heap of wood – wondered what it would take to grab that from you also for my garage? I am not sure how to describe it but one-piece desk (almost looks like table with small drawer). Let me know.
Thanks.
Michael
Hi, Michael.
thanks for your interest, and keen eye.
The arch-top window is a little more expensive than you noted.. It’s $125 retail.. but I can do a deal at $80 if interested.
The china cabinet, is from the depression era, circa 1940′s, part of a dining room suite… and costs only $40 as is now. It’s in fairly good condition, needs a quick touchup, but is structually sound.
The desk, I believe the one you refer to is an oak base with turned legs, and an ogee shaped drawer. This is an older table which could use a new top. It currently has a plywood top on it, and i’ve been meaning to get around to putting a solid quarter sawn oak top on it when I found time. It’s a great piece,
I’m pricing it at $120 as is. Perhaps above your expectations, but as usual, if you purchase various items, a deal can always be done.
If you want other tables for the garage. I have many many tables available here at a lower cost point. Stop in and I can show you your options.
cheers.
Vince.
