Who’d have imagined I have so many up my sleeve?.

Most of these are the sturdier variety, with metal frame, and funky angled wheels.  Act fast before these are all gone… I have no idea what the next load will look like, but these metal and wood dowel carts are among the most desirable.

Use them for

• shoe racks (yah, I know, not very imaginative.. but really useful).
• towel holders in large luxurious bathroom.
• closet organizer.
• Tool organizer for shelves or hanging tools from hooks.
• Wine rack (exceptionally beautiful for this use).
• Kitchen pot and pan holder (on wheels to boot)
• and so much more.

Right now they are getting power-washed and cleaned up for your purchase… but they looked like this this morning.

Use them in your mudroom, kitchen, pantry, balcony, wine-cellar, or living room.. Wherever they reside, they bring a touch of rustic industrial charm to any room. EACH ONE IS UNIQUE, has it’s own dings and dents, and old shoe leather colouring drippings.

Our assortment of Norwegian fishing floats have arrived. Lovely clear, green, acquamarine, and deep green glass floats encased in a hemp hand made mesh. These were used till early in the 1900′s on fishing boats in Norway, tied to the nets as floaters. Great for deorations, lamps, or just to hang in a window. Soon for sale here.

Some odd pieces of hardware today… as we are ALWAYS on the search for more for our customers in order to keep a steady supply on hand.
And, of course, some more old books just in . Haven’t had time to look through these yet.

A host of Popular Science and Popular Mechanix Magazines, yes, a little musty, some even with some usage and surface scuffs… but a fantastic grouping of items from the war years, 1930-1960… a lot in the 1940′s era. Especially nice for all the war-time ads contained. Special features on submarines, tanks, rockets, bombs, and more war-time stuff.

A very very nice high-end Eastlake Victorian Settee. Great carvings on the back and sides… This one warrants full restoration, as it fills a room with character by itself.

An 8-track player… yes just the player… we don’t often see these come in alone, usually parts of a stereo or other gadget.

Amongst the finds.. a nice Lorraine glass Rooster, vintage Canadian art glass, in excellent condition.

Some fine old storm windows from an old manse here in Cambridge. These are LARGE windows, with 29 by 36 inch antique rolled glass panes. Great for restoration projects for homes, and or furniture. I’ve already claimed one for a nice oak bookcase I’ve got here in the store that requires a replacement piece

A nice mahogany single (twin size) bed arrived. I have rails in the back barn awaiting the buyer. This is a nice quality piece which requires a bit of TLC, on the finish, but no repairs required. Soon to be listed for sale.

An interesting and very light stained glass window came in today. Note the interesting mix of Art Noveau and Arts & Crafts feel of the design. Truly a wonderful piece for your sunny space which will bring a smile to your brunches anytime.

A whole load of letterpress cabinets full of printers drawers with foundry fonts, originally from the Cambridge Reporter Print shop (Galt, Ontario, one of canada’s oldest newspapers, now defunct).
Yup Thousands of letters ready for use in your letterpress operation, or as SteamPunk articles for jewelry, rings, and more.
The entire lot is being sold in bulk, if you like NOW… so act fast before we begin to part out.

An old milk can, rusty, rustic, with an awful lot of charm.

Two great wrought iron ice cream parlor chairs, with SOLID wood seats. These are real OLD ones, very heavy. I don’t see these this nice often.

Fine old Canadiana Dresser with moustache pulls, backboard, original finish and condition, as found. circa 1870

Chimney cupboard, with cubbies in upper section, one door, lockable, over one drawer and bottom door. in fir/pine woods. For repaint or strip, eiher way it’s a delicious addition to a hallway, kitchen, or entranceway. (SOLD today… no longer available)

A recent arrival, something we don’t often see.

Made of metal, still fully functional, in fact, all drawers and doors work great.
Needs a repaint, and we can arrange a new lime green, pink, (or any other HOT colour) for you in a powder coated finish for long durable wear. Just ask, and we’ll get a quote for your desires.

Notice the stainless steel backsplash, the fine porcelain double sink, and even the pull out breadboard? At the time, it was top of the line, and still has a certain panache , no?

Will go fast… as I’m actually eyeing it for my own use if/when I renovate my kitchen.. This is a fantastic piece, solidly built, and will give decades of future use to it’s new proud owner. Shouldn’t that be you?

A great set of mahogany chairs… one needs a bit of TLC.. but these are FANTASTIC. Can’t wait to find the time to restore these…. or you can scoop them up now before they hit the workshop and SAVE $$. (Think of them painted ivory white with black/gold highlights maybe ?

A nice grouping of cranberry red bottles, miniature size… I’m considering making a chandelier with these. well you have a better suggestion? let me know .

A nice older screen door, with a bit of fixing… it’s a great room divider… Wall art, or maybe even a real screen door for your stone cottage.

An old wooden pulley, this one’s been around a while… wooden wheel, cast metal hook and hanger. Will clean up very nicely.

And finally, another slag glass hanging lamp. Grapple onto this one quick, as these sell out fast… It will be very reasonably priced.

Sheriff is scheduled to come on Monday…. and I’m hoping the Sheriff shows up in a ten gallon hat with spurs on Monday. If so.. I’ll happily post pictures… If not… well, we aint’ in Texas, eh?

And a sterling silver hand hammered tray by Clarence Vanderbilt, New York, circa early 1900′s (a decidedly “art deco” feel to this nice sterling set. weighing in at about 0.9 pounds sterling).
