Rare Victorian Repousse Silver Plate 4 piece Domed Butter Serving Dish.

Pattern form # 1377.

4 piece includes Dome top lid, silver insert ring, bevel glass insert and repousse floral footed base.
Also included Wm. Rogers & Son Butter Knife.

Wonderful Dome Lid with Scroll Detailed Handle, lifts off to reveal beveled Glass held in place with  embossed beaded band insert, to further reveal very ornate repousse Floral design inside with enough room to add some ice to keep the butter chilled.

There are two sets of prongs to hold the knife.

This piece has an original silver insert holder and thick bevel glass.

The Victorian Chilled Butter Dish measures
6.5 tall x  7 diameter.
