A nice OLDer walnut base, once a very large gateleg table, now has a newer pine top.  
Functions beautifully as a desk, in fact we used this as our counter desk while setting up our store, and now sadly have to part with it, not having room in our upstairs office for it.

The legs are tapered, turned, and octagonal shape — these are well known tio have been made  in the Hamilton/Dundas area circa 1880′s by leading local  cabinetmakers.
