Looks like an original Paul Caron of some sort. Looks like a hand coloured print, or a watercolor painting.
Honestly, we do not know.
The art is on “Rolland Parchment” paper , a paper only registered trade-mark in 1923, so perhaps he was given some samples to test before release to the public.
Signed as “Village Street Baieu St. Paul” a favourite location of Caron’s. Signed “Paul Caron 1922″ in pencil on right side.
Could be a real bargain for a Canadiana art lover here.
