It has a great Look, Coil spring under the push knob plunger, staples are loaded from the back, just slide them in and connect the tension spring to the lever and ready to go.

This Vintage stapler measures 5″ long x 1.5″  wide x  4″ tall.

There are rubber feet on the bottom to keep the stapler from slipping & does not scratch the desk top as well.  

Nice OLD Stapler for the collecter of office equipment.
