your SM tactics are like my starving Duck Decoy
Fat duck, or decoy.. your choice. ??
I was at a nice antiques show in Barrie recently, and during a few moments of pause had the opportunity of watching a duck come up to shore, feeding.
It would stick it’s head underwater bobbing among the rocks up and down, up and down, it would sp0t something of interest , bob down, and try again.
A lot of effort in that, I’d guess.
I look hard, really hard, extremely hard, yet could not see what the duck was seeing. Yet it acted like there was something there. So I looked harder, again.
No fishies, no crayfish, no minnows, just some loose floating seaweek, grass, or debris, I think.
So I began to think about all the folks who are doing their “social media” rounds today.
I’m on NING, you’re my friend here… so come on over to my Facebook Page… please LIKE my facebook page!

Ok, enough fun.
Let’s just say I think a lot of sellers are like that duck, bobbing up and down continously for scraps of debris. How long before starvation sets in? Even a duck must learn after a while that if the bobbing does not result in food it must find better hunting grounds — or at least stay away from what other humans toss at it as fish or food — it ain’t necessarily so.
Smart duck, or decoy.. your choice.
There is value in decoys — but the decoy does not get to enjoy that. A smart collector does — so would you say most “sales venues” are the collector and you the decoy?
Sit back, enjoy the sunset, watch the duck, much can be learnt.
