  1. A little history for you:
    This statue was carved in Columbia, SA by the natives that lived in the Andes. My mother bought a similar one (larger) in 1960. We lived in a fenced community with mostly Americans & Canadians who were hired to do a construction job. The mountain people used to come in and sell their wares, everything from carvings to baskets.
    The statue must have been carved by the same person who made my mothers statues. It’s amazing this would show up in Ontario.
